Burn awareness

Original Web site linkSt. Joseph Regional Burn Center will celebrate Burn Awareness Week 9:30-10:15 a.m. with a special story time presentation at the Allen County Public Library, children's services, 900 Library Plaza. The program will help educate area preschoolers about burn and fire safety and will be repeated at the 10:30 a.m. story time.
Free home fire safety checklists are available at most Allen County Public Libraries. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors donated by St. Joseph Regional Burn Center and the Fort Wayne Fire Department will be given away on WAJI, Majic 95.1-FM.
